29 WEEKS

Gender: Baby BOY!!!

How far along? 29 weeks!

Baby Size: Butternut Squash

Total weight gain: 24 lbs

Maternity clothes? Yes mostly yoga pants and now that the weather is warming up I can wear my non maternity t-shirt dresses to switch things up.

Stretch marks? No, I started using my Basq oil again. Love, love, love it!

Miss Anything? My sanity, my bladder controls my life it seems like and my day & night revolves around bathroom breaks!

How my life has changed so far: I'm feeling REALLY blessed to have a soon to be family of 4. Kinny makes me laugh and love every single day and now we get to give her a best friend & brother! I couldn't be more excited to experience having a boy, he will be a Momma's boy for sure!!  

Movement: Yes now instead of kicks I feel rolls. I think his back is facing out because it feels firm across my belly.

Food cravings: Diet Dr.Pepper, Chocolate, coffee, Frostys from Wendy's,and now peanut butter! All things I should be avoiding!

Symptoms: Lots of lower pressure in the mornings, acne again, lower back aches, emotional break downs (Kinny asks me if I'm ok:) bless her heart!)Every day is something different & exciting wink wink!

20 WEEKS

 Gender: Little Man!!!

How far along? 20 weeks half way point

Baby Size: A small cantaloupe

Total weight gain: 10 lbs

Maternity clothes? I am living in leggings and a lot of black. I feel like when I walk out of the house everyday I have ALL black on! Trying to look thinner after all of the holiday indulgences I guess?!

Stretch marks? No, but I need to buy my favorite body oil by Basq now that the weather is making my skin feel drier

Miss Anything? Sleeping on my back & my skinny jeans.

How my life has changed so far: Buying blue, I have been living in a house exploding with pink tutus, hair bows, glitter shoes, dolls, and all things girly for the past 2 years. The boy side of the store is foreign to me! Its the best of both worlds I get to shop both sides of the store!

Movement: At night when I'm trying to get comfortable in bed I get a few really powerful jabs.  Little goodnight Mom I love you punches:)

Food cravings: The holidays aren't helping me make healthy eating choices. I'm craving gingerbread/molasses cookies, lots of lemon/lime Gatorade, and Artichokes.

Symptoms: This pregnancy I had a few weeks of acne which was a real treat but it seems to be gone now! 

BABY #2 OH BOY!

 Gender: Baby Boy!!!!!!

How far along? 13 weeks

Baby Size: Lemon

Total weight gain: 3 lbs  

Exercise: None besides chasing Kinsley around!  Need to start walking around the neighborhood and get moving! 

Recent happenings? We just found out the sex of the baby! Matt wasn't able to make it to my doctor appointment, so I surprised him at work with a little baby boy football tee(above). He was speechless and then he went down the hall to tell his colleague! We couldn't be more excited and feel so blessed.

How my life has changed so far: I cherish Kinsley's nap time, its the highlight of my day! Not because she is sleeping but because I myself take a little afternoon siesta, I sleep so hard its unbelievable.  

Movement: I have felt this tiny dude a handful of times already, I can't believe how fast things are progressing!

Food cravings: All things sweet and grilled cheese sandwiches!

Symptoms: My nausea has subsided and now I find myself hungry all the time, more so than when I was pregnant with Kinny.

WEEKDAY RECIPE

So as a new Mom its hard to find time to cook like I used to. I need fast, healthy, and comforting meals that suit the appetite of a hungry man and a picky little toddler! I tried this recipe from a Disney show called "That's Fresh" with Helen Cavallo, it was my first experience cooking with parsnips and it was delicious! Watch the YouTube below for the recipe!

I almost cried this morning looking at my little love bug, I can't believe she is 6 months old today. She has brought so much love and joy to our lives, time is flying and I try to take it ALL in and cherish every moment!
