So as a new Mom its hard to find time to cook like I used to. I need fast, healthy, and comforting meals that suit the appetite of a hungry man and a picky little toddler! I tried this recipe from a Disney show called "That's Fresh" with Helen Cavallo, it was my first experience cooking with parsnips and it was delicious! Watch the YouTube below for the recipe!
Because I HAD to get something from the DVF/Gap Kids collaboration. I decided on this sun hat, so excited for Kinny to wear by the pool/beach all summer long! The collection is only at Fashion Squares location and once its gone its gone, most likely by tomorrow so go NOW:)
While taking the babe for a walk in the neighborhood I decided to pop into our local children's boutique. The display windows hung a bunch of these Y'all Balls for their summer theme, I couldn't resist this one below. These balls would also make great decorations for Cinco de Mayo, birthday parties, & by the pool!
I almost cried this morning looking at my little love bug, I can't believe she is 6 months old today. She has brought so much love and joy to our lives, time is flying and I try to take it ALL in and cherish every moment!
Here are 6 pictures out of the 2,565 I have of this face!
3. Pureed avocado a stage 1 fruit, we call her Daddy's guacamole girl
I make Kinny's baby food when I can and avocado is definitely her favorite!
4. Melissa & Doug's bug jug
This was a gift and she absolutely adores these little bugs! There soft, they jingle, crinkle, and rattle. She sits in her highchair every morning and plays with these. The jug is soft and really cute too.
She sits in her bumbo chair next to this kitchen and seems to love playing with it and enjoys the sounds it makes! I think we will get a few months out of this toy because once she is able to sit up she can open it up and there are more ways to play with it.
