In between the holiday parties, shopping, baking, decorating, wrapping, etc... I managed to whip up a couple quick dinner ideas. 

I made a pizza with Trader Joe's basil & herb pizza dough.  I topped it with olive oil, mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, basil, pancetta, & Parmigiano-Reggiano. 

Secondly I whipped up a little cream of asparagus soup.  I had a bag of asparagus left over from Christmas and so I thought I would use it up. There are lots of recipes out there & so I combined a few recipes to make my soup, turned out pretty good!

(Mine had shallots, heavy cream, sour cream, chicken stock, olive oil, salt/pepper, & asparagus)
