FORKS & AMUSEMENT

WHAT SANTA BROUGHT ME CONT...

A vacuum might not be an exciting Christmas gift to you but it is to me! Our dog Lute sheds so much hair that this is NECESSARY!

My Dad gave us a few tools to make jalapeno poppers on the grill. It's one of his specialties that he has passed on to us as posted earlier here

Lastly my Dad picked the hubby & I up matching shirts from Bula Bula our favorite B&B in Costa Rica. It's one of the spots we stayed at during our honeymoon, so it was a great surprise to remind us of our trip!

OATMEAL CONNECTION

Received my STYLEMINT tee today!  I am really happy with it & I am loving the cut of the tee it fits perfectly. I am now addicted to this website & the whole idea really! Here are the pictures...

I also picked up this chunky knit hat from H&M yesterday.  It's hard to find a winter beanie that is stylish & cute on.  I loved this one because it looks expensive but it was only $5 on sale!



HOLIDAY RUSH

In between the holiday parties, shopping, baking, decorating, wrapping, etc... I managed to whip up a couple quick dinner ideas. 

I made a pizza with Trader Joe's basil & herb pizza dough.  I topped it with olive oil, mushrooms, fresh mozzarella, basil, pancetta, & Parmigiano-Reggiano. 

Secondly I whipped up a little cream of asparagus soup.  I had a bag of asparagus left over from Christmas and so I thought I would use it up. There are lots of recipes out there & so I combined a few recipes to make my soup, turned out pretty good!

(Mine had shallots, heavy cream, sour cream, chicken stock, olive oil, salt/pepper, & asparagus)
